Best fabric is tightly woven microfiber. Usually it will have brushed or sueded surface. The next best choice is nylon taffeta, crinkled textured nylon or poly/cotton poplin.
Test fabric by sprinkling some water on it and seeing how much is absorbed and how quickly it dries.
